I wouldn't be there to be accidentally thrown outside the universe and subsequently create it. So the universe never existed! But why didn't we disappear? I can only surmise that the explosion from my old return pad irradiated us in highly charged chronoton particles, allowing us to momentarily survive. Boy, that was lucky. Yeah, things worked out. Well, we have to stop him!
